CARTERSVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN UPDATE

The City of Cartersville, Georgia (pop approx. 23,000) is now accepting proposals from professional firms to update the current City of Cartersville Parks and Recreation Master Plan and to develop a comprehensive plan for the next 10 years. The previous Master Plan was dated March 2008, prepared by Ross and Associates. The previous Master Plan is available for viewing prior to submission of a proposal for the Master Plan update. The Master Plan will become an element of the City of Cartersville Comprehensive Plan and will require the approval of the Mayor and City Council.

Bid documents shall be obtained at no cost from the city website or by requesting the package via email from sroberts@cartersville.org. Response to this RFQ must be in the form of a formal proposal with two printed copies and a flash drive. The envelope containing the bids must be sealed and designated on the outside of the envelope as “RFQ – RECREATION MASTER PLAN” to be considered. Any bid received after the date and time specified shall not be considered. The City of Cartersville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, or accept any proposal, which appears to serve their best interest in the sole determination and judgment of the City of Cartersville. Submit sealed proposals to Steve Roberts Director of Parks and Recreation, 100 Pine Grove Rd., Cartersville, Georgia, 30120 no later than January 23, 2024, 3:00pm local time.
