Builder Incentives
The Cartersville Gas System may choose to provide an in-kind match, such as waiver of the Cartersville Gas System's costs for installation of a service line and meter set. Qualifying furnaces must be natural gas only and attached to the main living area of the home.
Installation of a duel fuel heating system disqualifies the home from all incentives and requires that the full tap fee be paid prior to the gas meter being installed. Incentives shall be paid for the inspection of home at the time the meter is installed. Any additions or changes after the inspection must be initiated by the builder or owner to the Cartersville Gas System to arrange for an additional inspection.
A maximum of $250 incentive from Southern Natural Gas will be paid per house. A maximum of $250 incentive from Cartersville Gas System will be paid per house. The Cartersville Gas System reserves the right to final decision on incentive qualifications.
