Inspections

The Cartersville Fire Department strives to keep public facilities and private residences safe from the threat of fire. Personnel inspect everything from schools to fire extinguishers at local stores. All staff is certified inspectors through Georgia Firefighters Standards and Training Council.

They remain up to date in current Life Safety Codes from the National Fire Protection Association as well as the Georgia State Fire Marshals Office. The annual outreach program of the department effects all age groups of the community with a fire and life safety message These measures are just a few of the many things Cartersville Fire Department does to give the city peace of mind.
