Utility Meter Replacement Door Hanger

The City of Cartersville is in the process of upgrading the utility meters. If you are in the first batch of installations, you will notice the above door hanger placed at your entryway of your home or business.

For this first installation [roughly 100 citizens], the meter replacement will take place between April 19, 2022 and April 21, 2022.

Depending upon your current City utility services, the existing Natural Gas, Electric Meter, and/or Water Meter will be changed out. This is the very first stage of an overall Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project that is now underway.

A notice will be given to citizens two weeks prior to the final installations.
