Solid Waste Rate Changes

Due to the increased cost of tipping fees and increased cost in operating expenses, the City of Cartersville City Council has amended the city ordinance to adjust solid waste rates effective on May 1, 2024.  Those customers with garbage carts (brown curbies) may see a slight decrease in base rate but will see an individual landfill fee that is reflective of the estimated tipping fee per cart dumped in the Bartow County Landfill.  Commercial accounts will be affected as well however, those customers will not see the landfill fee listed on their bill.
