INVITATION FOR BIDDER’S PRE-QUALIFICATION

Separate sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the MAIN STREET PUMP STATION REHABILITATION, are planned to be received by the Owner during the 2nd Quarter of 2022.

The Project consists of the following major elements:
The work generally consists of replacing pumps and piping inside the existing pump station building, and yard piping connections to existing water system within pump station site, and GA Power Right-of-way.

Bidder Prequalification:
Pre-qualification of Bidders for the Project is required. An electronic copy of the application and qualification requirements can be obtained from Mr. Ahmed Annaim with the engineering firm of Wiedeman and Singleton, Inc. (phone number 404-876-5862 extension 238 or email at aaa@wiedeman.com). Applications for pre-qualification for bidding will be received at the office of Wiedeman and Singleton until 5:00 p.m., local time, Monday, April 18, 2022. All applicants submitting pre-qualification documentation will be notified of their status by Monday, April 25, 2022.

ONLY BIDS SUBMITTED BY PROPERLY PRE-QUALIFIED BIDDERS WILL BE OPENED.

Copies of Contract Documents will be made available Monday, April 25, 2022.
Each Bid will be required to be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid, prepared on the form of Bid Bond located in the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
