We're those people who love numbers. After all, our mission as the Finance Department is to build and reinforce confidence in City financial management. We do that by maintaining and planning all financial functions in an efficient, cost effective, and responsible manner. Through a collaboration of team work, we provide both you and our departments with the necessary information to assure accuracy, accountability, and justification.

This includes recording all City expenditures and assuring that departments operate within their annual appropriations. 

Accounts Payable processes invoices to private persons or organizations for goods and services received by the city.
General Accounting reviews all transactions to ensure they are in compliance with City budget guidelines. 
Meter Reading is conducted on more than 30,400 electric, gas, and water meters.
