The Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department's twenty-seven full time employees have the responsibility of:
· supervising all programs
· operations and maintenance of:
> Dellinger Park
> Cartersville Baseball Complex
> Cartersville Civic Center (available for reservations)
> Gymnastics Center
> Gymnastics Plus
> one recreation gymnasium
> miniature golf course
> three swimming pools
> and all vest-pocket parks & trails in the City
> Pine Mountain Recreation Area
Also the gazebo and four large covered shelters at Dellinger Park are available by reservation only.
The Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department is a member of Georgia Recreation and Park Association and National Recreation & Park Association.
