To provide quality park facilities and recreational programs for our community where participation and enjoyment are achieved in a safe and family oriented environment.

(All addresses will be verified with the Bartow County Tax Assessor’s Office, if City of Cartersville resident is chosen incorrectly, a non-resident fee will be added to your account and will be due before the activity begins.)

The Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department's twenty-four full time employees have the responsibility of:   
  • supervising all programs 
  • operations and maintenance of: 
    • Dellinger Park 
    • Cartersville Sports Complex  (formerly Cartersville Baseball Complex)
    • Cartersville Civic Center (available for reservations) 
    • Gymnastics Center 
    • Aubrey Street Recreation Gym 
    • Pine Mountain Recreation Area 
    • three swimming pools 
    • all vest-pocket parks & trails in the City   
    • Sam Smith Park 
      • Festival Area 
      • Etowah Riverwalk 
      • Senior Aquatic Center 
    • Cartersville Soccer Complex
    • Goodyear Clubhouse (available for reservations)

The gazebo and four large shelters at Dellinger Park are available by reservation only.

The Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department are members of Georgia Recreation and Park Association and National Recreation & Park Association.
